Sure, the idea that a person primarily utilizes either the left or right side of their brain has been debunked. When it comes to designers, however, it's not uncommon to find one who is more logical than creative—or more creative than logical. I'm different.
Driven by a propensity for logic as well as an affinity for all things creative, I'm a product designer who loves to solve complex problems and deliver intuitive, user-centered solutions that are also delightful. I certainly don't forsake function for form, but I do believe that form is often undervalued when it comes to user experiences. I thus strive to consider design problems from both an analytical standpoint and a creative one. And my thinking is always, always rooted in research.
What does this look like in practice?
