Dell EMC Interactive Playbooks

The Why

The EMC sales team often utilized PowerPoint decks in 2013 when pitching EMC's products and services. These PowerPoint presentations were appropriate in many situations, but the sales representatives also described scenarios where PowerPoint slides were cumbersome and impractical, e.g., during an elevator pitch. The sales team had a compelling need for sales collateral that would be appropriate for on-the-go interactions or when time was a limiting factor.

The What

Using Mag+ (an interactive content platform) in conjunction with InVision, my boss and I designed a number of interactive sales "playbooks" for iPad. These playbooks were designed to be engaging and easily digestible in order to complement the sales agents' main talking points. And the content was designed for iPad as to enable the sales team to execute sales pitches in a more agile fashion.
